The system operates by transforming a sample of the patient’s own tissue into a “bio-ink,” which is then utilized to create a patient made skin patch. This patch is designed to precisely cover the wound, minimizing the risk of infection and significantly accelerating the healing process. Since the patch is derived from the patient’s own tissue, there is no risk of adverse reactions or side effects. The entire process takes less than an hour and requires only standard post procedure wound care, without additional surgical procedures.
